Caroline Gould - MBE
In recognition of more than 40 years of unwavering dedication to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of British wildlife, In 2024 Caroline was named on the Honours List for an MBE.
This prestigious recognition reflects her lifelong commitment to improving the welfare of injured and orphaned animals, as well as her tireless efforts in raising awareness of wildlife conservation. Through her work she has helped thousands of animals and inspired countless others to support and protect the natural world.
Animal Hero Awards
In 2014, Caroline was nominated for – and went on to win – an award at the Daily Mirror / RSPCA Animal Hero Awards.
These awards recognise the UK’s most devoted animals, as well as the individuals who work tirelessly to support and protect them.
The ceremony, hosted by actress Amanda Holden, celebrated the extraordinary bond between humans and animals, and the remarkable lengths each will go to in helping the other.
Caroline Gould was delighted to receive the Animal Enthusiast of the Year award, presented by Bill Oddie.
IFAW - Lifetime Achievement
In 2010, Caroline was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) in recognition of her outstanding contribution to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
The award celebrated her decades of hands-on dedication, her leadership in advancing standards of animal care, and her enduring commitment to giving injured and orphaned wildlife a second chance.
